Position: Linux System Admin

Terms of Employment: Full Time

Location: Canoga Park, California

Salary/Wage: Dependant on Experience

Job Description:

Under minimal supervision, the LINUX ENGINEER is responsible for support and maintenance of our Production environments and our software configuration management system. The person in this position will respond to all inquiries of systems to which he/she is responsible. The Linux Engineer will use his/her skills and knowledge to support the environments.

Skill Requirements:

• 5 or more years experience as a Unix /Linux systems engineer. RedHat Linux specifically.
• Expert in Apache including troubleshooting, configuring and installing.
• Ability to read and write administrative scripts in Perl.
• Experience with Version Control Systems.
• Knowledgeable of IBM, Compaq and Sun hardware.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent prioritization skills.

Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
