Position: Web Designer
Terms of Employment: Full Time
Location: Keyport, New Jersey
Salary/Wage: Dependant on Experience
Job Description:Designer in conjunction with the Marketing team is responsible for creation, development and maintenance of our online portfolio of existing and emerging ecommerce marketing products including the full spectrum of web marketing tools. These products primarily utilize content, image and brand for traffic acquisition and channeling to referral based subscription networks. Designer, within the team environment, will help maximize the revenue potential of our online properties and products through superior graphic design skills.
BA Graphic Design, BA Fine Arts or equivalent: Preferred but not Required
Ideal Candidate:
- Is a confident creative thinker, self starter and risk taker
- Is Experienced working individually and as part of a project team
- Has good typographical sense with a natural flair for layout and composition
- Must have a strong understanding of template and Web Page architecture
- Must have experience creating consumer-centric and administratively friendly web viewing and browsing experiences.
Application Skills
- Excellent Flash Macromedia skills
- Excellent Photoshop, Illustrator or Image Ready
- Comfortable on Mac or PC OS
- Proficient in handcoding HTML, Dreamweaver or Fireworks
- Bonus:Cold fusion, ASP, Java or VB Scripting
Primary Duties
- Work with the Marketing team and Program Manager to develop new designs and concepts for new and existing marketing programs and web properties.
- Develop Templates for use by existing or future web properties.
- Create and Support Marketing material including landing pages, emails, banners, middle pages, popups and flash banner applications.
- Ensure brand and design consistency across related online properties and initiatives.
- Managing, interfacing and coordinating with any outsourced design groups utilized on projects.
- Developing and furthering vendor design relationships.
- Responsible for Internal copy and graphics inclusive of logo creation and maintenance, business cards and letterhead.
